THE PUKEKAWA MURDER
CABINET TO CONSIDER THORN'S SENTENCE. The sentence of deailh imposed by Mr. Justice Chapman .on Samuel John rhorn, who was found guilty last week of the murder of Sidney Seymour Eyre at I ukeknwn, has not yet come More Cabinet for consideration. The usual procedure is for the Judge to forward a report upon the case. This report; and other relevant information is placed before tho Executive Council, which decides whether or not there is ground for varying the sentence of death.
