MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
The -Wellington Miniature Blfle Association held ltd second annual championship meeting on Saturday. Over" 100 entries were received, including members of ladies' clubs and the Featherston and Carterton Clubs. The Defence Department allowed the use. of the main drill hall at Buckle Street, and the association'was enabled to provide U targets simultaneously under the most, favourable conditions. Tim meeting was opened by .Colonel Collins, C.M.G.. 1.6.0., president of the association.; who stressed the value of training with the miniature rifle as an aid to the more advanced shooting with the..353 service rile. „ , ' T , .
