On Saturday last the secretary received a' cableirrnm stating that the musical judge, Mr. Gordon Lavers had met with a.n accident which necessitated his abandoning the trip. Mr. Harold Gregson, of Auckland, was at once communicated with, and consented to net. Mr. Gregson will arrive in time tp commence hjs duties to-morrow morning.
