KING'S THEATRE.

The ever popular Constance Talmadge 5« proving a great draw at the Kind's Theatre, There she is seen at her best in "Sauce for the Goose," which is beins screened nightly till Thursday. The film is-supported by an excellent variety of interesting pictures. In addition, Mr. James Schofield, Canadian tonor, sings with much success "Macusbla" and a laughing song, and an enjoyable programme of music is plnyed by King's orchestra. There will bo a full orchestral matinee to-morrow. EVERYBODY'S THEATRE. Corinne Griffiths, who is featured in "The Tower of Jewels," which is showing at. Everybody's Theatre, glares a remarkably faithful and appealing characterisation of the Princess, a girl who has fallen into the toils of a gang of criminals, and has not had a chance to go straight. An excellent supporting programme is headed by the latest number of "The Mystery of 13." EMPRESS THEATRE. "On Our Selection" is having quite as Biiccessrul a run at we Empress Theatre as it had at the King's. The 6tory i 6 a particularly interesting one and Holds the audience from the start to finish. ■The picture will hold the screen until , Thursday night. • BOY SCOUTS' DEMONSTRATION. The Boy Scouts of Wellington and district intend holding a big demonstration in the Town Hall on October H and 15. One of the feature? of the entertainment is to be the coronation of the King Scout of Wellington, and an interesting notification in ' connection therwith appears in our advertising columns. This competition is being conducted on novel 'lines. Each troop has nominated a candidate for the honour of being the king, and the votes are allotted according to the value of the tickets sold. Thus a Is. ticket is worth 12 votes, a 2s. ticket 24. and a 3s. ticket 38. The boys are working hard on behalf of'their respective candidates, and the state of the poll at that time is to bo published in Saturday's--papers. The object of the demonstration, is to raise money to provide' the boys with uniforms, and'is a deserving one.
