Herr vou Simons informed tho Press that if Ehe demands of the Entente are incapable of fulfilment, the Government would have to ..submit to. the occupation of the Ruhr. He .was convinced that with rigid economy in Germany, two million tons of. coal could bo exported a month. The Government would not be prepared to mak« specific proposals on reparations at tho . coming Geneva Conference. He wished to see disarmament carried out with the powerful help of the Entente. He emphasiscd"his intention to fulfil the Peace Treaty to tho beslfof his ability, and declared that tho present was.not the time to talk of revision. He hoped that when Germany had convinced tho Allies she had done her utmost, and 7iad convinced them of her goodwill, the Entente itself would grant revision of the terms.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
