It is confidently anticipated that this purchase will prove highly satisfactory to the D.I.C. To a»»ist in tho extension of the Company's business in this and other directions, the Directors hnve decided to issue 123,000 6 per cent. Cumulative Preference Shares of £\ <ach, which entitle the holders thereof: . (n) To rank pari paara with, the existing £125,000 6 per cent. Cumulative Preference Shares. (b) To a fixed Preiwential Dividend nt tho rate of M per centum per annum on the amount paid up thereon for tho time being. (c) To priority over ordinary shares in tho distribution of the surplus assets on a winding up, but to no fur ther rights in tho profits and assets of the Company. - Tho Director* now offer for subscription the above-mentioned 125,000 Preference Shares. Instalments will bo payable a* under:— Ou Application ss. Od. per share. On Allotment 5s Od. per share. • On November 1, 1920 5s Od. per share. On February 1, 1921 5s Od. per share. Applicants may pay up in full at the time, of allotment or ai any time before the due date of payment of Calls, and will be entitled to dividend as from the dates of payment on the amounts paid. The shores aro I'reforontial both as to capital and dividend, and will be entitled to a cumulative dividend of 6 per cent, per annum, paynblo half-yearly. Tho first dividend, calculated on tho amount paid on tho said shares from the dntes of payment'to the date of tho Company's balance (August 20, 1920), will bo payable after the next Annual General Meeting of the Company, and subsequent dividends in May and Novem her of each year. Preferential consideration in the nl lotment will be given to present Shareholders (both Ordinary and Preference) of tho Company. The Company will pny a commission at the rate of .£ls per cent, to any member of a recognised Stock Bxchango on all shares of which lite procures the i subscription. '.' .
