[A message from London published on Monday stated:—The "Sunday Express" reports' that the Army Council, after considering General Dyer's lengthy written statement, decided to exonerate him, al-lowing-him to retain his position-in the Army, thereby reversing tho recommendation mado to tho British Government by the Indian Government and tho Indian Commander-in-Chief.]
