ROSENEATH AFFAIRS

ANNUAL MEETING OF ELECTORS' ASSOCIATION. Tho annual • meeting of the Roseneath and Oriental Bay Municipal Electors Association waß held In tho Roseneath Bchool last evening. Mr. H. N. Morrison, tho president, occupied tho chair. The annual report stated that the membership . roll stood at 75. They had not succeeded in carrying out ■ works of any magnitudo during the year except that Lindum Terrace had beon considerably Improved. ' The Oity Oouncll had been approached, and the followlne works had been promised «t an early date:—(l) New convencienco and extension of sea-wall at Oriental Bay; (2) new Are station at Eoseneath: and (3) widening and .strengthening of Grafton Road.

Mr, Morrison urged the need of members taking a keener interest in tho association. He mentioned that many years ago when tho association was first formed the membership numbered between 80 and 90, .of whom between 20 and'JO always at tended tho monthly meetings. Mr, Bur-/ bidge supported Mr. Morrison, and ureed those nresent to endeavour to bring new blood into the association.

The olection of officers resulted an follows:—President, Mr. R. W. Burbiditc: vice-presidents, Rev. Petrlo and Mr. G. 'I. Allen; secretary, Mr. H. G. Myer; committee, Messrs. 0. M. Turnbull and .1. Prendeville; auditor. Mr. Harrqwen delegates to Greater Wellington Association, Messrs. T. W. Ward and If. G. M.ver. It was decided to join the Eastern Districts Association.
