PROPOSED VISIT OP ENGLISH TEAM TO AUSTRALASIA. (Rec, June 21, 8.10 p.m.) Sydney, Juno 21. A meeting of the Football Association considered tho proposal to bring out an English team next season. A letter was read from the- secretary of the New Zealand Association asking for co-operation in securing a team. The estimated cost was ,£IOOO, of which New Zealand was prepared to pay .£ISOO if the team played in the Dominion. 'Queensland also offered to' pay JJIOOO. The final decision was deferred for a few weeks, pending n representative of the association usiting the other States with a view to securing support—Press Assn.
