Palmerston North, June 18. Warren Newth was brought before Mr. J.'A. Graham, J.P., at the Magistrate's Court this morning, on remand, on a charge of manslaughter in connection with the Sandon motor fatality, in which Arthur Ernest Eglirigton, Alfred Edward Penny, and Frank Kidman lost their lives. .

Senior-Sergeant Eraser, on behalf of the .police, asked for a further remand for a week, which was granted, bail being allowed as before.
