MAXIMUM PRICE FOR 1920 HARVEST London, June* 15. _ In tho House of Commons, on tho r..'o- - authorising the payment of exbenses in connection with the Agricultural Bill, Sir A. Bcscawen stated that Cabinet had decided, that the maximum price for home-grown wheat of the. 1920 harvest should remain at 955. The arrangement that the maximum price for 1921 should be 100s. would bo cancelled. Tho farmer would receivo for home-grown wheat an amount equal to tho average c'.i.f. price of imported wheat'of- similar or comparable (jualiiy. Ho. assumed the guarantee for wheat was GSs. and for oats 465. He could not estimate the probable cost, but the guarantee was veil worth tho cost'in the national 1 , interest— Eeuter. .
