Bach signal will commence exactly at the beginning of tlie minute, and will be approximately of one second's duration. It is pointed out by the Minister that wireless messages from the ships cf the mercantile marine are sent out on ,a wave length of GOO metres, so that, to ensuro success of the arrangement, it will be necessary for all ships fitted with wirefess apparatus to restrict their operations for the few mimites during which the time signals are being transmitted.
