THE SAMOAN TRIP

INVITATION TO FIJI. The time of departure of lljfi Parliamentary party'for Samoa is contingent on the movements of the Jlokoia. If tho steamer is ready, the party will leave Wellington late this afternoon. Most of the members who are making the trip have reached Wellington. The following telegram has been received from tho Governor of Fiji (Sir Cecil Bodwell)-.—"On behalf of Government. and people of Fiji, I beg to.extend hearly welcome to New Zealand Parliamentary party. All possible facilities mil be arranged for them on arriving in the colony. Am communicating , with Toncau authorities."
