tTNKNOWN BODY DURING SEARCH. By Telegraph—Special Correspondent. Palmerston N„ February 15. A. sad drowning fatality occurred on „ Saturday afternoon in the Manawatu River alongside the Palmerston North Esplanade; It appears that- several children were playing on a log alongside the river when a little boy aged seven, son of' Mr. W. Xelly, railway signalman. felt into the stream, and was auickly carried away, nr.d drowned beforo s help could be procured.
