AMERICA'S WAR ON THE MEAT PACKERS
FEDERAL GRAND JURY REFUSES TO RETURN INDICTMENTS.

New York, October 3. 'J ho New York "Tnnes's" Chicago correspondent reports that the- president of the Federal Grand Jury has announced tliat fhe jury would not return indictments against the meat packers. The evidence in all the cases will bo presented to a new jury on Octo'lxu 1 7, and this jury will be asked to return indictment* charging the packers with violations of the Sherman Anti-Trust Law.— AuH.-N./i.
