HAoliJNuo. i Dear Sir, - ' ■. . . • ' ■ I The wnter has'to thank you for yours of the let inst. and the ij prompt manner in which this Carburetter was supplied. As a preliminary report, we tell you that the Carburetter was placed on the .T.B.'C. Car, a run of 76 miles being made, including ■ I four stiff hills, and the -amount of petrol consumod was 2 gallons S 7 pints. The extra speed noted vas really surprising, and the power ; on the hills wao a decided improvement. Tho previous running or car w i(;]j — Carburetter was 17 miles to the gallon; the jet was . then made smaller, with tho lesult of 19i, miles to tho gallon. Thw I was the best that the writer could obtain. On tho ."Master , it I works out nt practically 25| miles to the gallon, increase of 6 miles S per gallon. During the iun wo found that on half acceleration the ' J levor control was put down to the leanest mixture possible, and it $ is quito probable that we could do with a smaller distributor, and i would get more economical running still. Tlio one nt preseut in the I carburettor is marked "S." Wo would bo pleased if you wouW -for- \ ward another—we do r.ot know which way the sizes run, whether it I would be an "It" or a "T," as there is to note made t-f this in tho I inetructione. i Wβ would also like to say Hint the "Master Carburetter" you sent I us for tho Sunbeam tar showed an increase of 11 miles per gallon, t ■ with considerably raoro jower on tho hills tha-i tho previous car- ; buretter fitted to this car. Thie is au astounding result. \ Yours faithfully. J (Signed) H. GARBOTT, I Maimger, IJooth, Macdonald and Co., Ltd., DUNEDIN. S AGENTS-- A, WHITAKER, Palmcrston North. I G.
