I The race will commence at 3,.p.m.' | In connection with the Anniversary 9 Day regatta it was decided to hold the 1 gathering on the town side of the ha.r- ---| hour. The club was unable to complete arrangements for holding the regatta nt Eastbonrno. It was agreed to commence racing at 10 a.m., when the second-class yachts would be sent off, followed by the first-class, the third-class, and the centreboard boats (20ft. and under). The.first raco iu the afternoon- will commence nt 2 p.m. At, the conclusion of the yachting events/a -sports, programme will bo decided. ' / The' inter-club cun race for 14ft. boats will bo decided on February 22.

BOAT HARBOUR COMMITTEE, A meeting of the boat owners was held on Wednesday night at the bout harbour for the purpose of electing delegates to the Bont Harbour Committee. The Port Nicholson Yacht Club is represented on this committee by Mr. W. Duncan and Major A. J. Petherick. The Port Nichol. eon Motor Boat Club's representatives are Messrs. Ronayne and Watt. On Wednesday night Messrs. F. Petherick and J. Flynn were elected to represent tho boat owners not associated with, either of theso two clubs.
