The annual meeting of tho AshhurstPohangina Pacing Club was held to-day in lino but. boisterous weather. The totnlisalor recorded d' 18,859, as against £13,9-10 for the same day last year. There were only live runners in tho Hack Hurdles, Whiro being a bettor favourite than Kiirapni. The black gelding took charge at the start, aud jumping well led tho whole way. First Line beat his stable companion, Kur.tpai, for second money. Fusing Tido wns twenty lengths alt, whilst Warmth fell at the second fence.
