SOLDIERS ON LEAVE
NEED NOT RETURN TO CAMP. "Many inquiries are being received from soldiers on leave from camp," says Sir Jmncs Allen, "as to whether they are , expected to return to camp on the expiration of the leave granted, cither by the , : Military Service. Boards or by the Camp Commandants. Unfortunately the 1 dislocation of the Post and Telegraph 'services ha? prevented the camp authorities from advising these men that iii view of the cessation of hostilities they are not required to return to camp. I therefore desire to announce far the information of nil concerned that soldiers now on ieave can ( remain in their districts. They will be hdvised in due course with respect to their discharge when demobilisation arrangements are completed. It must bo clearly understood, however,'that this intimation does not ( nffect men who are absent from camn without leave or ■who are dosertprs. These men are required to return to camp."
