BOYS' INSTITUTE SOCIAL

At the Boys' Institute football social Inst Friday, Mr. G. E. Brown presided. The following artists contributed items during thtf evening:—Miss Basselt, Miss Dormer, Sergeant-Major Harrison, Sergeant Musso,/ Messrs: Henderson, Bing, Banks, M'Quistan, and six gentlemen from the Kent Terrace Bible Class. Faniall presented the gold and silver swimming medals, which had been won during the past season at 'the weekend -contests in the bath, after which Norman Bing, on behalf of the boys, presented Mr. M'Canlle with a photograph of the team, as a..slight recognition by them for the great services which. ho had rendered as coach during the past year.
