43rd REINFORCEMENTS

THE OFFICIAL INSPECTION. The Forty-third Infantry Reinforcement draft was inspected at Trentham Camp yesterday morning by the Gover-nor-General (Lord Liverpool), who was accompanied by thn Minister of Defence (Sir James Allen) and the Commandant (Major-General Sir Alfred Robin). Other members of the Headquarters Staff and the camp staff wore also present. The draft, which has completed its course of training in New Zealand, marched past in excellent order, and presented a very satisfactory appearance. ,The physical standard of the New Zealand reinforcoments has remained high, an.d the Forty-third Reinforcement is regarded as a thoroughly good draft.
