COOL AND CHANGEABLE
Slowly—very slowly—tho weather is improving. 'Yesterday was a bleak, fairly 'dry day, with tlio wind still coming from the' Antarctic, and one or two heavy rain squalls. Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly to easterly winds, cool and changeable conditions, coastal showers—especially in tho northern and East Coast districts— and a rising barometer.
