When the outbreak s wns discovered tho iiro had a great hold s on tho building, which ivas razed to the '• ground. Tho contents were consumed, nothing being saved. 11 Messrs. Mau.nsell, Hart, and Hogg, so--11 licitors, had offices in Iho building iliey 1 also lost everything, including n. valuable e law library. . . ~ • The building, so far as is ascertainable, I was insured for only .£325, but the full insurances are not available till the strongroom is opened, Mannsell, Halt, • ar.d Hogg were covered by an insurance Tho premises adjoining—tho Agricul--0 tmral offices and a dwelling-suffered " from fire and water to the extent of about £25. 'l'hoy are covered by msiir--0 R Tho origin of tho firo is a mystery.
