COURSING
The. conference between representatives of the governing bodies of coursing in Queensland, Now Zealand, . and-. New South Wales-will-take place in Sydney on Jlily 3. The committee of theN.S.AV. N.C.A.' have appointed a. eub-committee. to draft the agenda paper, and the proposed Constitution of the Coursing Union of 'Australasia. 'It is proposed to draft the constitution,and run the union on very similar lines to the Amateur Athletic Union of Australia and New Zealand. It is also proposed that the Board of Control of tho new union shall meet once a year—at Australasian Waterloo Cup time. Until such a period as the States standing out come into the fold; the functions of the new. union will be' light and chiefly /confined to seeing that the Australasian Waterloo Cup is,'conducted each year, acting, if desired, as a court of appeal for bodies within the union, doing all possible to prevent the duplication of greyhounds/ names, and working in every way to maintain the purity.; of the sport.
