The, New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report-.—On Monday we held a sale of dairy cows on account of Mr. J. L. Buick, Rangiotu. Notwithstanding the very inclement weather we'had a particularly good sale. Co-operative J Association, Limited, stock,- department i Pahiatua, report on their undermentioned sales';—At Woodville, on Monday, owing to the extremely rough \yeather only a ; very small entry of utock was yarded. We disposed of the following lines:—l 2 fat ewes, 275. 6d.; 31 forward ewes, 225. 6d.; three store, cows, £5 155.; three dairy cows, £10 2s. 6<y„ £11 2s. 6d.. and £11 10s. At Pahiatua'on June 25 a'very small yarding of stock was offered, and the' following lines disposed of at prices;on a. par' with recent sales' reports:—3oo goodskinned empty . ewes, 255..'• 55 do., 205.; seven fat owes. 275.: 53 medium lambs, 165.; 23 small do.. 9s. 5d.; eight yearling heifers. £3 55.-. five weancrsi 205.: pony, gig,' and harness, £34 10s. ' Following the stock sale the flrnroffered two small fannH in the Konini district, under instructions from the Public Trustee in' the estate of fl. J. Alpass, deceased. -There was a very large attendance, of .farmei'B and others interested. The, 48! acres with the dairying and other outbuildings., after keen competition, waß Bold at auction, .realising the satisfactory price of £86 per acre, the purchaser being Mr. F. \V. TSlatchford. of Pahiatua. The. 781 acres section was started at £30 per acre and passed in at auction, being afterwards disposed of by private treaty at £40 per acre to Mr. G. Leitch, of Pahiatua.
