Dalgely and Company, Limited, Palmerstou iMorth, report havinjr a fair yarding of sheep and n small yarding of cattle at the Pulmerslou North sale on Thursday, when practically every line changed hands at satisfactory prices. The Now Zealand Loan and MercantileAgency Co. report that they had a very successful sale of sheep, cattle, and sundries, on account of Mr. It. Loncy, at Maiigatiti, on 'Wednesday. Although the weather was very boisterous there was a good attendance, and competition was spirited throughout. The following prices were roalised:—Four-tooth to f.m. ewes, 345. 6d.; two-tooth ewes, 30e.; empty ewes, 245. Id.; two-tooth wethers, 28s. 10d.; owe lambs, 215.; wether lambs, 20s. 3d.; cows in calf, £!); dairy cows, £9 to £16, averasciuß £11; calves, £2; weaner steers, £4 10s.; weaner heifers, £3 153.; twenty-month heifers. £5 7b. 6d.; two and a half-year steers, £10 10s.; bulls, £9*Jos. to £10 55.; store pigs, £3 15s. The Wairarapa Viirinuvs' Co-operative Association, Ltd., report linring. held their Weekly Bale at Mnstcrtoii on Thursday, when they submitted ;i fit-ir yardine of sheep to a moderate attendance.
