RED CROSS DAY IN SYDNEY
ENTHUSIASTIC CARNIVAL. (Rec. April 26, 9 p.m.) Sydney, April 26. Tie greatest enthusiasm prevailed in the Red Cross "drive." The city was crowded. Although, tho proceedings were marred by the ra'ii in the afternoon, tho result promises to be a huge success. A procession of V.A.D. workers carried huge fiags, to which money was literally showered. There is nearly ,270,000 in hand.—Press Assn.
