MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
Tho Wellington Miniature Kiflo Association has just completed the first round of the competitions for the. Osmond Champion Cup and for the Osmond Champion Roso Bowl. -The competition for the champion cup is open to members of all clubs affiliated to the association, tho cup to bo won outright each year by tho highest aggregate over a series of eight shoots. Tho competition for tho roso bowl is open to' the members «if the ladies' clubs only, and this is also to bo won outright each year by l.ho highest aggregate over a series of eight shoots. 'I'hero are so far forty-ono entries for tho cup competition and twenty-eight for tho roso bowl, but intending competitors have still a month in, which to entor. The highest scores in the cup competition on tho first roujid are as follow:— Cook, 97; Dayman, 97; Richardson, 96; Veaimore, 96; Ncal, 95; Meek, 95; Filzmaurice, 91; Adams, >93; Craig', 93; Porteous, 93; Warburton, 93; Roes. 93. Tho highest scores in the rose bowl competition on tho first round are: Miss Anderson, liG; Mrs. Vuller, G(i; Miss Wakelin, GG; Mrs. Wild, 65; Mrs. Greenstreet, 65; Mrs. Eimnett, 61 j Mrs. Warner, 61; Miss Jenkins, 63; Mrs. Cunlilfe, U3; Miss Zorab, (51; Miss Coningham, 62; Miss Stephens, 62.
