SHOWS NET PROFIT FOE YEAR OF .£17,780. The annual financial statement of the City Corporation's Electric Lighting Department, presented to tho Tramways Committee on Monday afternoon, shows a net. profit; of X 17.780, which must bo considered highly satisfactory, and will serve to strengthen the markedly strong financial position of this department.
