ABOLITION OF LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL THE MAIN ISSUE.
(Rec. March 14, 1 a.m.) Brisbane, March 13. Tho State elections have been fixed for March 16. Abolition of the Legislative Council is the main issue. The Nationalists oppose tho Ryan Government's Socialistic policy, and propose to co-operate with the Federal Govcv ment in its efforts to win tho war. Tho Government, if returned, will take it that the people want tho abolition of the Legislative Council.—Press Assn.
