MEETING OF IMPERIAL COMMISSION. (Rec. February 24, 5.5 p.m.) London, February 22. A meeting of the Imperial War Graves Commission approved of the report • of Lieutenant-Colonel Kenyan.making it a recommendation that there should be equality of treatment in regard to the headstones for officers and men, the Government to bear the cost of the outlay and maintenance. It was stated that some, if not all, of the Dominions would decide on headstones representing tho Dominion rather than tlio individual, lleuter. MOBILISING FOR FARM WORK CANADIAN WOMEN AND SCHOOLBOYS. Ottawa, February 21. The Government is mobilising women for agriculture and also 25,000 schoolboys "for work on farms—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. Cable Assn. THE TRAWOOL MURDER OLDRING SENTENCED TO DEATH. Melbourne, February 23. Arthur Oldring has been found guilty of the murder of Mrs. Taylor and her twelve-year-old daughter at Trawool on November 10 and sentenced to death. —Press Assn. DEAR MEAT IN NEW SOUTH WALES OVER 60 PER CENT. INCREASE SINCE 1914. Sydney, February 23. The Inter-State Commission's report on the price of meat in New South Wales states that the price of beef had increased 01 per cent, and mutton 68 per cent, since 1914. —Press Assn. SPANISH DEAL WITH AMERICA WAR SUPPLIESFOR OIL AND OTHER COMMODITIES. Washington, February 22. An economic agreement between America and Spain has been signed at Madrid. It provides that General Pershing shall obtain mules, blankets, and supplies from Spain in return for oil and other commodities from America.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. AMERICA'S WAR FINANCE ONE HUNDRED'MILLIONS APPROPRIATED. Washington, February 21. The Senato has Reported on die Finance Corporation Bill appropriating 500 million dollars (£100,000,000).
