TROOFS IN WONDERFUL HEALTH ENEMY WELL SUPPLIED WITH GUNS (Rec. December 30, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 23. Reuter's Headquarters correspondent oa the Western front says: "The whole front is snowbound. The Gorman artillery is firing a very large proportion of gas shells. Undoubtedly the enemy has now very largo supplies of guns and ammunition, but our replies are effective. Winter training is in full swing in the back areas. The health of the troops is wonderful. An abundance of recreation keeps them in good spirits."—Reuter. BOMBING RAID BY BRITISH AIRMEN (Rec. December 30, 5.5 p.m.) London, December 29. Sir Douglas Haig reports: "Thera is increased hostile artillery firing in the neighbourhood of Polygon Wood, Passchendaele, and Laugemarck. GERMAN ACTIVITY IN BELGIUM (Rec. December 30, 11.55 p.m.) London, December 30. There _ is immenso German activity in Belgium. Passonger traffic has been suspended.—Reuter. FRENCH DISPERSE ENEMY TROOPS Lonrfon, December 28. A French communique states: ''On the right bank of the Meuse the artillery activity continues, and is marked at Oaurieres Wood and Bezonvaux.
