. TORPEDOED IN IRISH CHANNEL 101 OFFICERS AND MEN LOST The High Commissioner reports: — December 22, 3.50 p.m. Tho Admiralty reports: An armed boarding steamer named Stephen Furness was submarined and sunk in the Irish Channel. Ono hundred and ono officers and men were lost.
