TERRIBLE PRIVATIONS IN AUSTRIA
INTERNAL RIOTS AND ARMY DESERTIONS. Washington, December 4. Official reports via Jnssy stato that' there is terrible privation in Austria. There is no harvest in Istria, Dalmatia, and Bosnia, and there are continual riots in Hungary and Bohemia. Rioters at Budapest seined a munitions factory. Thousands were killed during the suppressing of the revolt. Many deserters have fled to the mountains, and have become outlaws.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
