CAMP NOTES
The following temporary appointments liavo been approved by the Camp Commandant at Feathcrston: — Corpl. .T. E. Watson, B Coy., 33rd, to be sergeant; Ptes. W. C. M'Alpine and J. B. Sawers, 35th, Specialists, to be lance-corporals. The cup presented by the Camp Commandant at Featherston for tho best-kept huts and lines has been awarded to the 36th, N.Z.F.A., for tho week ending Saturday, November 24, 1917, with tho 34th, N.Z.F.A., second. Tho following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Feathcrston:—Headquarters Staff (Musketry)—Corpl. E. Cairns to be sergeant. Headquarters Staff (quartermaster's department)— Ptes. P. G. Kitchen, A. R. Campbell, H. Lyall, A. L. Kelly, F. M. G. Watchorn, V. A. Rapley, J. A. Thomas, J. M. Poynter, A. D. M'Gavoek, J. F. Fanning, H. Keningston to bo corporals. ' Tho following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Fejthcrston:—Pte. J. H. Wells, Grooms and Orderlies (officors, mess),' to be sergeant cook; S.Sgt. 11. Campbell, P.E.A.S.C, to be staff quartermaster-sergeant. Tho following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Qommandant at Trentham:—C Coy., 35th Reinforcements: Cpls. F. H. Paddy, J. C. Allan, and J. Bobertson to bo sergeants.
