WRIT TO BE ISSUED TO-MORROW.

Tho resignation of Mr. P. 0. Webb, as member for Grey.hofe hcen received by Mr. Speaker in proper order, and tho usual steps are being taken for the holding of a now election. The writ will bo issued to-morrow, and if the election should he contested, polling day will ho about December 12. The exact date has not yet been fixed. Latest news from the West Coast is to the effect that thero is not likely to ho a contest, and that Mr. Webb will he allowed to jwjn tk> 6oat by a walkover. The resignation of Mr. P. C. Webb, member of tho Ifruse of Representatives for Grey, is formally notified by tho Sneaker. Sir Frederick Lane, in. this week'fl Gazette.
