GRAIN MERCHANTS' ASSOCIATION
FORMED IN WELLINGTON.
Some fifteen firms doing business in Wellington were represented at a meeting convened yesterday for tlie nur-' pose of forming a. local Grain, Produce and Seed Merchants' Association.. It was formally agreed that such an association be formed. Mr. H. Baldwin was elected president; Mr. R. G. C. Eitcli, .vice president; Mr. A. W. Press, secretaryand a committee consisting, •of Messrs. Barton, W. J. Gaudin, and .'A. E.. Birch, was appointed (with the officers • as ei-officio members). The objects of the association- is..to watch all interests likely to affect hie trade.
