CRICKET
MEETING-OF EXECUTIVE. Tho Executive Committee of. the Wellington Cricket Association held its regular meeting in the Civil Service Club last evening. Mr. C. G. Wilson presided, and present were: Messrs. Willis. Bennett, Ward, Crombie, and Howitt. St. Patrick's Gollppse Club had applied for the use of the Basin Reserve during the lunch "honf, and also for the use of two extra wickets. The former application had been referred to the caretaker of the reserve. Tho latter request was granted. ; Tho meeting instructed the secretary to write to fthe Auckland Association to inquire whother'that body would send a team to Wellington this season; also to the Canterbury Association suggesting "homc-and-home" matches this season.
