TEe local grain and produce market Seeps very quiet, there being practically no grain offering outside of chaff, which continues to meet with inquiry, and is worth -up to .65 at country stations for prime heavy quality. The potato market is very dull. The price remains at £2 7s. Gd.'to £2 10s. at country stations, as growers aro not'willing to take'the potatoes out of the pits for less. Merchants who aro indifferent about doing any further business in potatoes this season are only offering .£2 is.
