The entries in fat cattle aro. below the -average. The purebred dairy cattle, always good, are strongor than ever. There will be a fair show of milking Shorthorns. Quito, a strong contingent : of Friesian cattle will bo exhibited from the' Hiitt district. No lees than. _ three Exhibitors are sending good entries in that section. - . . ■ , ' ' The competitions and ring events on tho first day. Wednesday, October 24, are 'reported to be quite as on the ■ second day, as in addition to W dog t'ritls,' two jumping, events take place. Good entries have been received in all these competitions.
