Adrian jinox, of Sydney, and Jolly Maltster (Maltster —Madura, by Ayr Ladcliu from Madras), were also on view, ami were exhibited in the'ring. They wcro greatly admired by those at the ring side. An inspection of tho horsee served to sliow the-different types used in the. various departments of military work. They were all powerfully built and active, and represented some iof the best military horses m the Commonwealth, if not in any part ot tho world. Three Star, .who was a good performer on the turf, has grown mto a thick-set, stout, fine looking etallion, and Eliould be very useful for the purpose of getting the required stamp of army remounts. Included in tho collection was a big upstanding thoroughbred, by Maltster from' Vanity, which was presented to the Department by the late Mr. John Turnbull. This norse, which cost. 800 guineas as a-'yearli ,, ?' in shortly to be sent_ to Egypt to be used us a. charger by MajorGeneral Cham-el. The military horse exhibit was onfi of the most imnortnnt at the show, and one of which Colonel Robertson is justly proud.
