FINE WEATHER
I Wellington yesterday basted in the sunshine o£ an enjoyable day. and this genial spell, says the meteorological report, may be expected to continue for a little longer, though ,the signs portend a change. Present indications are for moderate to 6trong easterly -winds, backing to the north beyond Napier and New Plymouth, and increasing nortnerlies and" westerlies elsewhere. A change, states the Teport, is duo shortly, with rain following, particularly south of Cook Strait, but fair weather is likoly to continue for a 6hort tin'.e in tup East Coast districts.
