MINISTER'S STATEMENT. The Defence Minister wrote to the War Relief Society yesterday"l desire to state that in- the cases of men Who break down in camp and who are allotted to home service, provision has been made to continue their pay for a month after discharge from camp. In addition' to this, provision has been made that men whose trouble originates in camp or is aggravated by service in camp, will be allotted the amount of pay equivalent to the pension they would have received had they been discharged. "Re pensions to soldiers or their dependants, the. Pensions Board has power to grant full pensions in cases where injuiry has originated in camp, or has been aggravated by service in camp."
