New York, August 7. Tho New York "Times" publishes _ a dispatch from The Hague containing the bitterest attacks, yet made by tlio German Press on President Wilson ou account of tho embargo placed upon exports from the United States to neutrals. This is believed to be a conclusive indication of the serious effect of the embargo on Germany.— Cable Assn.
SUPPLIES POURING IN FROM SWITZERLAND. New York, Augnst 7. The New York "Times" Washington correspondent has obtained extracts from a. private letter from Switzerland, stating that Switzerland is enjoying the utmost prosperity, and is pouring cheese, butter, meat, and chocolate into Ger-many.—Aus.-N.Z.
