Y.M.C.A. NOTES

Tho local Y.M.C.A. was again kept very busy catering for soldiers over the week-end; 18G bods wero supplied and 379 meals served to soldiers at the hostel in Boulcott Street and 110 beds and 170 meals in the main Y.M.C.A. in Willis Street. Over forty of tho men were entertained at supper and song-sorvice after church on Sunday night, i Tho liev. J. M. Thomson, M.A. ' (St. Andrew's Church) gavo an address to the Sunday afternoon men's meeting, and many visitors and soldiers ..were afterwards welcomed to the city at tho strangers' tea.

At the weekly meeting of the Literary, and Debating Society Mr. J. Caug-hley, M.A., lectured on tho 'TJnity of Science." The address was most interesting and instructive.
