The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd.,' report:—At Rukanni, on Thursday, wo had-a full y.Rrdins of sheep. A fnir attendance' of buyers wo present, but bidding was not very animated, end several lines wero passed in under tho hammer. A (food clearance was, however, made afterwards, and. only one small pen ot wethers was turned out unsold. Wo quote:—Four-year ewea, 305.; 2 and 4-tooth ewes, 29b.; £tooth ewes, 295. 6d.; '2, 1, and 6-tooth owes, 295.; 4 and 5-ycar ewes, 245. 6d.; cull ewen, 175.; small 2-tooth wethers, 305.; m.s. hoggets, 16s.

There wa-s a very...fair attendance of buyers, but competition was not particularly keen, and a fow of the oows were withdrawn; 37 wore sold at prices ranging from £6 ss. to £14 2s. 6d., averaginp; £9 18s.' 6d.
