LAND SALE AT HASTINGS

There was a very largo attendance 'at Everybody's 'Theatre, Hastings, when Messrs. de Polichet. M'lieod and. 00., Ltd., oHcrcd on behalf oE Mr. C. J. Nairn tho well-known Pourerore Estate, comprising a total area of 6656 acres, subdivided into twelve lots. 'Following tho Pourorere sale, the same- firm oflered part of Tβ Hanuirl Estate, tho property of Mr. Jack Nairn, comprising 3100 acres, subdivided into alx lots.

The bidding was very spirited, and tho lots were quickly disposed 01. The following sales wore cftccted:— rOURERERE ESTATE. Lot 1-569 acres af £17 per acre, to Mr. Shndbolt, Clive. The total amount rcalisod in the I'ourcraro Estate aalo Is £116,983, that of To Manuiri Estate £43,431, making a grand total of £160,414.
