APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS
The following appointments and promotions are announced: — ]_ Staff. • s Lieut. 13. T. Rowllings, N.Z. Staff J Corps, is appointed Camp Adjutant, Nar- J row .Neck Camp. _ b Hon. Lieut, and Quartermaster G. A. c Gibbs, R.A.M.C., attached to N.Z. Staff \ Corps, is granted the honorary rank of c captain and quartermaster, while em- j ployed with the New Zealand Forces. 'Permanent Staff. s Staff Sergeant-Major A. G. Baker is < granted (he temporary rank of lieuten- ( ant while employed as signalling in- T structor in the training camps. Oth (Wellington East Coast) Mounted Rifles. Lieut. H. S. P. M'Lernon to be captain. Corps of N.Z. Engineers. Lieut. J. M. Ferriday, Kailway Bat- ! talion, performed the duties of mortar , instructor, Field Artillery Reinforce- j ments, from March 5, 1917, and is con- , firmed in the appointment, with effect , from that date. N.Z. Medical Corps. ( Stuart Alexander Moore, M.8., 8.5., < M.jj., and Arthur Leonard Singer, i M.R.C.S., L.R.C.P., to be captains (temporary) while doing duty with the Ex- '< peditionary Forces. 1 Captain W. J. H. The following are appointed members of a special District Medical Board:— Lieutenant-Colonel S. A. Gibbs, M.8., M.S. Captain George Lyon, M.8., M.S. Captain (temporary Major) R. 1. Ritchie, At.B., M.R.C.S. Captain F. W. B. Fitchett, M.8., M.S. General List. 2nd Lieut. G Galloway is granted the rauk of . lieutonant (temporarily) while employed in the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces training camps. Battery Quartermaster-Sergeant J. H. M'Dougall, N.Z.
