We advanced our posts at certain points, inflicting casualties. Fighting continues at Bullecourt. We have advanced our line slightly southward of the Scarpe and havo improved our position on the eastern slopes of Greenland Hill 'north of. the river. We repulsed counter-attacks eastward of the Rocux ceme-tery.—Aiis.-IV.Z. Cable Assii -Renter.

The High Commissioner reports:— London, May 13, 11.30 p.m. A British official report states: —"Marly this morning tlio enemy twice further counter-attacked on our positions on the Hindentrarg line east of Bullccourt. In both cases the enemy was repulsed, leaving a number of dead beforo our _ trenches. During tho past ten days the Australians have gallantly maintained their positions on this sector of the Hindenburg line having repelled at least twelve determined counter-attacks. The greater part of the village of Bullecourt, lying in the Hindenburg line, is now in our hands. North of the Scarpe wo established ourselves during the day in tho western houses of Roeux, again making progress on tho western slopes of Greenland' Hill, capturing .a few prisoners. "In tlio Bullccourt operations, the Anzacs particularly distinguished themselves." [The Press Association dispatch covering the above operations adds: "Wβ brought down eleven German aeroplanes. Six of curs are missing."!
