Messrs. Wells and Salmon, representing the-Wellington Football Association, waited on the Reserves Committee of the Oity Council yesterday afternoon, witli a request that they, should ho allowed to "double bank matches (games at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.) on the nine grounds which had been allotted them, in.order-to. get-off, all the boys' matches that were ottering. Aftor considering the matter in recard to the effect of such an arrangement on the grounds, the committee decided that matches couldl bo doublebanked" on Wakcßeld Park, Newtown Park, and Kilbirnie Park, on alternate.
